I tried the New folder removal tool But the programme counld not find the New Folder.exe (253kb) which still exist and visible in all folders.

I tried 2 days before with newfolder.exe antivirus tool…It was excellent and wonderful..

I tried using both smart anti virus and newfolder.exe antivirus tool and was not able to remove the virus on my computer instead just showed your error msg that it was possible that the virus has been removed already (which I can confirm negative).

I also tried the restore windows default setting function on your programs but it just appeared an error msg saying “Error: Unable to execute the external program. The system cannot find the file specified.”

My show hidden folders option and regedit both has been disabled and does not work. Pleas help me!

Heys guys if you wanted to remove the new folder.exe virus then download this antivirus called “ESET NOD 32 ANTIVIRUS”. Even when you download the trial version for 30 days this antivirus remove new folder.exe 100%. I tried it on 5 pc which were infected & it remove this virus 100%. i used it and it works…but the problem is that,after you used it you cannot close the program,,,and after you restarted your system,the virus is there again…i more thing,,,it cannot scan my flashdisk or my usb device…hope you will come up with a better software…but your software is good,,,

Here was the problem I had:

All my “hidden files and folders” are showing. And in Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings, “Show hidden files and folders” is buttoned. However, when buttoning “Do NOT show hidden files and folders” and clicking Apply and OK, all dll files are still showing and when again opening Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings .. again, “Show hidden files and folders” is buttoned.

After trying different ways (including registry tweaks), I found that “Smart AntiVirus” did the trick. Thank you for this program.

Its a php file and asks me to select from a list of programs a program to open it. That didnt sound grammatical…….but backspace key is sticky. No go.

I’ve tried the Smart AntiVirus on my laptop that has the Ravmon virus on it, but it didn’t detect it at all.

I’ve also tried AVG Free and it did detect it but did not removed it.

I’ve bought the latest avg 8 and it also detects it and keeps it in a state of limbo, can’t infect my pc any more, but neither can i get the darn thing off.

sir, smart antivirus is realy a good antivirus for removing of new folder.exe files. when i run this antivirus on my computer it removes new folder.exe virus but now one new problem occurs that when i open my computer folder it opens and show my drives but i cannot open drives folder they all opens with open with option. how can i solve my problem plz tell me urgently. thanx

Excellent software! Healed my settings which had started to get frustrating.

First and foremost, I do not mean this to reflect badly on the tool’s usefulness - I’m only trying to assist by reporting what appears to be a false positive.

In running a recommended Malware removal tool on my desktop, several empty folders with .exe extensions were identified as being infected (though curiously enough, they pass today). I came across Smart Virus Recovery v1.41 in searching for information on .exe folders and gave it a try. It identifies “tscupgrd.exe” as being infected with SetupSNK yet VirusTotal.com returns a clean rating from all 34 virus engines. Additionally, File.net identifies this file as being valid and having the correct size. Please let me know if I’m missing something here and/or if I can provide any additional information.

..and my error - the three folders (.exe and .dll) were still identified as infected. Am I to assume these were remnants from an old infection? Kaspersky 8.0 and a handful of other online scanners don’t seem to pick up on these or anything else. Thanks…
